Intuition Reiki

Intuition Reiki is a system developed by Stephanie Brail for developing intuition. By its own account it clears the energy around the third eye and eases the biases and fears that make spiritual information harder to receive.

Everyone is intuitive to some degree. Just as some people are more naturally gifted at sport or music, some are more naturally gifted intuitively — but even without a strong natural gift you can develop it through practice and by clearing your energy field.

Regular Reiki practice strengthens intuition on its own; many practitioners report becoming more intuitive after attunement. What distinguishes Intuition Reiki is that it targets this directly rather than leaving it as a side effect.

The system uses no symbols; it works with visualisation instead. The choice is deliberate: visualisation itself feeds intuition, so the method of practice becomes part of the aim.

A substantial part of the manual is given over to cautions. Psychic ability can become unbalanced without proper grounding and spiritual maturity. It advises against the ouija board, tells you to pay attention to who you are communicating with if you work with a pendulum or similar tool, and above all to keep your connection to everyday life: go outside, do your work, look after your health and your eating.

Three obstacles to accurate intuitive information are set out. Personal bias: if you want something badly or fear it badly, the reading tilts that way — which is why psychics struggle to read themselves. Blocked chakras. And negative energies.

There is an order to the practice: the whole energetic body first, then the third eye. The manual advises against giving the crown chakra too much energy while the lower chakras are blocked, and says to work on those first; opening the third eye while the lower chakras are not functioning well does not make for good intuition.

The course also gives simple, regular exercises for developing intuition on your own: keeping a dream record, scanning with the hands to feel chakras and objects, and meditation. It suggests trying your hands instead of a pendulum — using intuition rather than relying on a tool moves you along faster.
