Two levels continuing on from the Usui Master stage; they are given together and one after the other, because they represent Yin and Yang. Prerequisite: to have been an active Reiki Master for at least six months.

Reiki levels V and VI do not come directly from Mikao Usui. At first these levels had no symbols; they were formed by a Qi Gong and Reiki Master living in Berlin. During meditation he saw that Qi Gong energy could be channelled in the same way as Reiki — the second part of the attunement process grew out of this.
The symbols were most likely channelled by an English medium and were put together later, because it was thought that symbols ought to be part of the attunement process. Experience with these levels is positive; because it is powerful, this energy is also called Reiki-Laser energy.
The two levels are taught together and the attunements are given one after the other, because V and VI represent Yin and Yang. Level V is called "Great Harmony" — Dai Cho Wa, and level VI "Great Sharing" — Dai Fa Shu. The manual also gives a wisdom symbol used at the start of the work: Dai Ro Se.
Foremost among the ways of working opened at these levels are the clearing of the spinal channel and the clearing of the aura; the steps applied immediately after the attunement are set out in order in the manual.
The section on aura clearing also covers how to deal with beings that appear during the work. The emphasis is not on force but on working with love and understanding — a being that appears is not always negative; it may be the person's guide or protector.
Other areas of work include quickening your own frequency, working with someone who has closed themselves off, being present with and connecting to those who are unconscious or at the end of life, and connecting with beings in nature, the four elements, the planets and the stars.
Sending and receiving information along Reiki beams also belongs to these levels; you can send to the past and to the future.

Prerequisite: to have been an actively working Reiki Master for at least six months. The attunements can only be given by a Reiki VI Master. The course includes a PDF manual, the attunement for both levels, a certificate and email support.

Prerequisite
You are expected to have been working actively as a Reiki Master for at least six months, and the levels are taken in sequence. This is a guideline rather than a gate — it is what works for most people.
Some students arrive ready by another route, through years of their own practice, even without having taken these particular systems. If you feel ready, you may go ahead; the decision is yours.
One thing said plainly: an attunement opens as far as the ground beneath it allows. If that ground is not settled yet, the level is still given, but you may not see the response you hoped for straight away. That is not a failure, only timing — a level taken early usually waits for you and settles into place once you are ready.

The level X symbol is called the Great Hope. It aims to allow you to always see that there is hope in all situations. There is never a reason to lose hope both in a personal and collective sense.
