The level XVI symbol is called the Big Revelation. It aims to assist you in getting a better awareness of knowing what will happen or what is coming in the future. Allowing you to not only be aware of what is to come but also how to prepare for it.

Prerequisite
No prerequisite — if you feel ready, you may take it.
The symbol of this level is Dai Kei — the Great Revelation, the great uncovering. It is written in Japanese kanji and gives its own name. The symbol was taught to Roberta Rianad by her spiritual guides.
The handbook is clear about how it differs from the level before: in Reiki 15 you see your own life, in Reiki 16 what stands ahead of us. Its subject is perceiving what is coming.
The text it rests on is the Revelation of John. The handbook notes that most people take Revelation for "the book about the end of everything" and keep away from it, while the text itself blesses the one who reads and understands. The work of this level aims to help you grasp what is written there and prepare for what is to come.
The point it insists on: the signs are already there, they only need to be understood. Because change arrives slowly, step by step, we struggle to notice it. With the attunement you learn this level's meditation; the handbook contains the symbol, the meditation, the attunement ritual and the symbol codes.

Prerequisite
You are expected to have been working actively as a Reiki Master for at least six months, and the levels are taken in sequence. This is a guideline rather than a gate — it is what works for most people.
Some students arrive ready by another route, through years of their own practice, even without having taken these particular systems. If you feel ready, you may go ahead; the decision is yours.
One thing said plainly: an attunement opens as far as the ground beneath it allows. If that ground is not settled yet, the level is still given, but you may not see the response you hoped for straight away. That is not a failure, only timing — a level taken early usually waits for you and settles into place once you are ready.

Reiki GrandMaster V and VI

The level IX symbol is called The Great Happiness which aims to assist you in finding true happiness in life. Happiness means to love and accept yourself and others unconditionally.
