Reiki II is the level where you learn the first three symbols (power, distance and mental symbols). In addition, by focusing on mental and emotional problems, you will be able to heal and send healing to people distantly.
Before you enrol
Prerequisite
It can be taken 21 days after Reiki I, once the twenty-one days of daily self-healing that follow the first attunement are complete.
After the attunement
You receive an email when the attunement has been sent and another when your certificate is ready. Then, for twenty-one days, you give yourself Reiki daily; what to do is set out step by step in the handbook and in the article below. It is the second big step towards understanding Reiki and being fully attuned. It can be taken 21 days after Reiki I: the twenty-one days of daily self-healing that follow the first attunement should be complete, so that the student has settled into the energy before the next step.
In the distance course you choose a time on the calendar and pay; the handbook arrives the day before the session, and you study the symbols and how to draw them from it before the attunement. At the agreed time you lie down somewhere quiet; the attunement takes 20–30 minutes. Afterwards your certificate is issued with your lineage and its link is emailed to you.
At this stage the Reiki symbols are taught; the initiations needed to use them are given and the techniques are passed on.
Symbols are the language of the universe; this is learning to speak in that language. The symbols of Reiki have been used for many years and their safety has been shown by long practice.
You do not need to be in any special state to work with the symbols. Because they are beyond the ordinary, they do what needs to be done every time they are used. To work with them you need to learn to draw them and use them correctly.
